SECOND TOILE- POCKET PLACEMENTS

After getting the fit and measurements perfect around the top of the jeans I decided to make a second toile to get the bottom fit how I want and to get the pocket placement correct. I drew out a second pattern with the changes from the first toile marked on. I knew I wanted a baggy fit around the leg and so just squared down from the seat line on the pattern. I also know I want the jeans to sit above my shoes rather than lie on top of them so I shortened them quite significantly. After this I started to think about the size and shape of my pockets. Initially I had made my back pocket far too small in proportion to the rest of the jean, but with some help from Michelle they are now the perfect size and placed correctly. I am really happy so far with the fit of the jean and can't wait to wear the final pair!
