STARTING THE TOP

At the weekend I searched through some charity shops looking for pieces which I thought I could use to start off my pattern cutting process! I know one of the main pieces I want to make is the one armed, hooded pull over I designed a couple of weeks ago. I found an oversized GAP hoodie which I thought would be a good base to work from.

I placed the hoodie on the mannequin and marked out where I wanted the diagonal line to sit and then cut it. I then proceeded to unpick all of the pieces. This is definitely not the perfect pattern yet but is definitely a good place to start!
