FABRIC RESEARCH- GUCCI COLOURS

Now I know what site I'm buying the fabric from I can start thinking about the colour way of the fabric. There were a number of different Gucci designs, but I knew I wanted the classic monogram print, so that narrowed it down to about twelve different choices. There were three that I narrowed the choice down too-

The Light Blue denim

The Pink

The Dark Blue denim

Reading the brief again, it tells me to "develop and ultimately wear a shirt that I love." And because of this encouragement to create something you love, I've decided to choose the pink colour. I thought about doing the denim colour ways, but for me, I think, that could be playing it a bit safe. The colour pink is bold, just like the monogram itself and lends itself to the 'bootleg' and loose style I'm going for.
